He began his professional education at Universidad San Francisco de Quito, where he earned his degree in Business Administration and Marketing in 1996. He subsequently pursued legal studies and obtained his law degree in 2010.

He has practiced as a litigator across various areas of law. His experience includes Criminal Law, Civil Law, Family Law, Competition Law, and Intellectual Property, including disputes involving trademarks and other intangible assets.

His practice is characterized by his approach to complex cases. He works with multidisciplinary teams, integrating legal analysis with business and strategic considerations to assess matters from different perspectives and develop effective responses. He seeks practical solutions. Where circumstances permit, he favors negotiation, mediation, and other alternative dispute resolution mechanisms.

His business background complements his legal practice. It enables him to assess each matter by considering not only its legal implications, but also its economic, organizational, and reputational dimensions.

He is currently involved in Quevedo & Ponce’s transition to its third generation. He has a particular interest in legal services innovation, disruptive processes, and the development of purpose-driven organizational cultures that are service-oriented and capable of adapting to change.
